  • Tsunami Relief Fund-Raising (January)
      Raised $4,300 in donations for the American Red Cross and Denver Sister City; Chenney, India
  • Senior Citizen Energy Rebate Assistance (January)
      Average rebate was $500 per person
  • University of Colorado KASB Culture Night (March)
  • Retreat with Korean American Student Association (March)
  • Support for the documentary movie, "Seoul Train" (April and May)
  • Evening with Dr. Sammy Lee (April)
  • Korean Heritage Camp Volunteering (June)
      For the last 13 years, this camp has supported Korean adoptee children of all ages, infants through high school, and their families.
  • Support for the Song of Korea exhibit at the Children's Museum Exhibit (June)
      An exhibit traveling to seven cities, funded by the Freeman Foundation and the Samsung Museum Foundation
  • Dragon Boat Festival(July)
      Participated in Dragon boat races at the largest Pan-Asia cultural event west of the Mississippi, drawing over 80,000 attendees.
  • Support for APIA Care Givers Workshop (August)
      Assisted APIA elders with the new Medicare Drug Insurance Plan, ID Theft Prevention programs and Elder Care Resources.
  • Participated in the APIA (Asian Pacific Islander Association) Relay for Life organized by the American Cancer Society
      First Relay for Life ever organized for APIA in the nation. Participated in an overnight relay to raise funds for cancer research and promote cancer awareness.
  • KAC National Convention (September)
      Hosted the third annual KAC convention in Denver at the Hyatt Regency Tech Center.
